London is one of the world's great photography cities — iconic landmarks, hidden backstreets, river light, brutalist architecture, Victorian markets, and neighbourhoods that tell a thousand different stories.
This page brings together photowalks I attend and recommend across London and the surrounding area. Whether it's the blue hour stillness of an empty Southbank, golden light hitting the Shard at sunrise, or discovering a corner of the city you've never noticed before — these walks are a brilliant way to explore London, improve your eye, and shoot alongside fellow photography enthusiasts.
For me, photowalks are one of the purest forms of photography. No client brief, no pressure — just you, your camera, and a city full of possibilities. I've found locations I never would have discovered alone, and come away with some of my favourite images simply by turning up and being present. There's also something about shooting alongside other photographers that sharpens your eye in a way that solo shooting doesn't. You notice what others are drawn to, you challenge yourself to find a different angle, and you always come home having learned something new.
